THURSDAY NIGHT IN THE SEASON OPENER FOR THE VANDALS, Idaho struggled defensively in the first half giving up 30 points to the visiting Falcons. The Vandal D made adjustments at the half and didn't yield a second half point to BGSU, but by then the damage was done and a stagnant Vandal offense couldn't keep pace, falling 32-15.
