Michigan Gridiron Senior Center Molk Named to Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List.
ANN ARBOR – University of Michigan senior center David Molk (Lemont, Ill./Lemont Township HS) has been named to the 2011 Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List, announced Thursday by the organization’s selection committee. It marks the third consecutive season Molk has been a candidate for the award honoring the nation’s top collegiate center. Molk was a finalist for the award in 2010.Molk, a three-year starter, has opened 29 career games at center for Michigan. Molk started 13 games in 2010, and in addition to being a Rimington Trophy finalist, he was selected to the All-Big Ten first team by the conference’s coaches.
