The 2011 football season for Eastern Michigan University is set to unfold Saturday evening at the friendliest football stadium in the Mid-American Conference and the home of the Eagles – Rynearson Stadium beginning at 7 p.m. The Eagles will roll out the welcome mat for Howard University a team from the Football Championship Subdivision and will be proudly representing the Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference. This will be the second time that these two teams have played; the Eagles defeated the Bison back in September 22, 2007 by the score of 38-15. This will be the fourth straight year that the Eagles have open up a football season at home.
