Earlier: Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, who is expected to be a finalist for the Heisman Trophy this year, is being investigated as a suspect in a Tallahassee sexual assault case from December of 2012, according to a TMZ report posted earlier today. TMZ claims that the motive for the alleged crime was “sexual gratification.”
Tomahawk Nation has obtained the official police report, which states that the suspect stands between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11. Winston, as the publication points out, is listed at 6-foot-4.
According to ESPN’s David Hale, Winston will be addressing the media tonight, as normal.

It is Jameis Winston’s legal right to not cooperate and he has an attorney probably telling him not to say anything.
I wouldn’t speculate about what that means, but if you listen to the State Attorney, there is obviously something about the case that warrants a fresh investigation.

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, the leading candidate to win the Heisman trophy, is at the center of a sexual assault investigation. Yes, the same Jameis Winston who made waves this summer when he said he didn’t suffer from “Manziel Disease,” could very well be dealing with his own off-the-field incidents and...
It can be seen as the beauty of the award or what makes it so maddening to follow, but the past is everything when it comes to the Heisman Trophy. It's the basis by which races are scrutinized and players' prospects held up or cast aside.
With less than four weeks to go in this chase history will loom large, because we voters could be forced to decide which bit of it we...

The Jameis Winston sexual assault allegations have caused a media storm. The biggest question in this, aside from whether he actually did it or not, is how might it impact his play? Florida State is flirting with a national championship game and it routinely puts up more than 50 points per game...
Things might be getting a bit tougher in Tallahassee these days. Not that the Florida State Seminoles are doing anything different then they have been all season long, but because the end of the year’s schedule is not an imposing one – which may force head coach Jimbo Fisher to keep his players focused on the prize in front of them.An ACC Championship awaits them in December and...
College football season may be coming to a close, but the chase for the crystal ball is just now heating up. And like I do every week, I joined my good friend Justin Hull of WSCO radio in Wisconsin to break it all down.
Justin and I hit on a number of topics prior to the Week 12 (wait, is it really Week 12?) slate and you can click here for the audio. Here are a handful of the...
