Waiting For Next Year:
On Columbus radio today, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer said that freshman RB Bri’onte Dunn has been passed on the depth chart by Rod Smith. Nether RB received a carry in Ohio State’s game against Cal last Saturday, despite the loss of Carlos Hyde and Jordan Hall’s return from injury.
Going into last week, Meyer said the starting job was up for grabs in the absence of Hyde. Neither Dunn or Smith was able to take advantage of the opportunity. It appears that Jordan Hall will get the bulk of the snaps again this week.

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is off to quite the start this season.
He’s had an amazing touchdown run in both games this season.
In my opinion as long as the Buckeyes keep winning, he’ll be a fixture in the Heisman Trophy race.
He’s already my preseason favorite for the award entering next season.
His coach knows something about taking quality athletes that...

One comment can make or break relationships and Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is well aware of what.
What he stated today during an interview today will endear him to Buckeyes and cement his legend as a traitor to hardcore Gators.

Can this College football season get any crazier? TWICF - 9/21/12
One thing is for sure is if the season continues to play out like it has the past two weekends, predicting the BCS games may be easier with a “magic” 8 Ball, as we had more upsets and unforeseen close calls that no one could have predicted.

Urban Meyer sees two seniors getting better as they return from surgeries but has a pair of starting defensive backs who might not be able to play when his Buckeyes take on UAB on Saturday at Ohio Stadium. Bradley Roby and C.J. Barnett have been limited in practice this week.
How firm thy friendship…
It’s no surprise that recent polls have shown that Ohio State has the best and biggest fan base in the country; with the deep traditions that the football program has and the loyal following, scarlet and grey runs through Buckeye Nation’s veins. Some of the threads that bind all of Buckeye Nation are the experiences through these traditions.
Urban Meyer wants to see more pre-snap adjustments, more defensive linemen and more Jordan Hall as the Buckeyes finish up nonconference play and begin preparations for the Big Ten season. We examine the growth of Braxton Miller, the state of the defensive line rotation and the role of Jordan Hall in this week's notebook.
Nothing you’re about to read here is news. It’s all stuff that most of us already knew. But the big deal here is everything you’re about to read here came from the mouth of Urban Meyer.
Yes, the same Urban Meyer that swept Tim Tebow off his feet on the recruiting trail. And the same Urban Meyer that got so close with Tebow that the two once got all nuzzly on the sideline.
Can a player from a school on NCAA postseason probation win the Heisman? Sophomore quarterback Braxton Miller of Ohio State seems like the best bet to join Andre Ware (1989) as the only player to pull that off. Talking to various Heisman voters, no one seems inclined to punish Miller for the past sins of the program. And not going to [...]

The Ohio State football team's offense hasn't exactly struggled through the first quarter of the 2012 season, but the Buckeyes believe the unit has only scratched the surface of how dangerous the team could be with the football.
