Found November 06, 2013 on Fox Sports West:
USC linebacker Morgan Breslin has been sidelined several games because of injury, and the senior apparently won't be returning to the lineup any time soon. "We don't know exactly, right now, how long he's going to be out, but it looks like it's going to be an extensive period of time," interim Coach Ed Orgeron said Tuesday during the weekly Pac-12 teleconference. USC plays California on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley. Last season, the 6-foot-2, 250-pound Breslin had a team-best 19 tackles for losses, including 13 sacks. He sat out this seasons opener against Hawaii because of a foot injury suffered during training camp but played in the next four games. He started but was sidelined against Arizona because of what Orgeron said was a hip injury, and then returned against Notre Dame. But he has sat out the last two games. Breslin has eight tackles for losses, including 4 sacks, which rank third on the team. Linebacker Devon Kennard has seven sac...

Orgeron rewards USC with In-N-Out

USC interim head coach Ed Orgeron takes a decidedly more "man of the people" approach to his job than predecessor Lane Kiffin did. [ PHOTOS: College football's hottest cheerleaders gallery ft. USC Song Girls ] As a way of rewarding his players for their 3-1 record during his tenure, Orgeron recently surprised them with cartloads full of burgers and fries from In...

USC RB Allen makes most of opportunity

Through the first five games of the season, Javorius "Buck" Allen carried the ball 14 times for 78 yards. In that sixth game, there was an emergence of sorts. He carried the ball six times for 37 yards and found the end zone twice. It was the first two scores of his career. If that wasn't a coming out party for the redshirt sophomore out of Tallahassee, Florida, last...

USC has introduced a new mascot to hang with Tommy Trojan during basketball. His name wait for it is Traveler. Yes, Traveler for USC basketball games. Apparently "Airball," "Brick" and "Double Dribble" were taken. The horse costume will be at men's and women's basketball games this season. Some might also point out that USC having a mascot...

Video: USC Coach Ed Orgeron Surprised Team With In-N-Out Burger, The Players Were Pumped

USC interim coach Ed Orgeron continues to be the anti-Lane Kiffin. The latest example? Rewarding his team for their hard work with a giant cart of food from In-N-Out Burger. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to hear that his players were pumped about it. The Trojans are 3-1 since firing Lane Kiffin after their loss at Arizona State. Looks like all they needed were some cookies and...

USC Trojans unveil two new basketball mascots

The USC Trojans unveiled two new mascots for their basketball team on Wednesday.  Tommy the Trojan and Traveler the Horse will now be making appearances at basketball games, but not at football games.  I’m guessing it was a little tough to bring in a live horse to a basketball arena and they wanted something to entertain the little kids that go to the games.  The mascots look...

USC Football team gets In N’ Out as a surprise

The USC Trojans interim head coach Ed Orgeron has changed the culture around the USC program and the players certainly like him more.  On Monday, Orgeron brought the team In N’ Out as a surprise thank you for their hard work.  Something tells me that Orgeron will be getting a head coaching gig somewhere after this if it’s not at USC.
