Calling USC’s football season a disappointment would be a vast understatement. From No. 1 in the preseason polls to fifth-place in the Pac-12, nobody expected the Trojans to be playing their last game of the season in the Sun Bowl. But, alas, here we are, and the Trojans don’t appear to be enthusiastic about their situation. First it was linebacker Tony Burnett ripping the city of El Paso and later apologizing. Suffice it to say, the USC Trojans had a disappointing season.
Going into the season with national championship aspirations, the team jumped out to a 6-1 start, and looked poised to at least capture a Rose Bowl bid. However, the team limped into the finish, ending out the season 7-5 (5-4 in the Pac-12) — possibly hurt the draft stock of quarterback Matt Barkley – and will find...
