For USC Trojans wide receiver Marqise Lee, he had a day to remember in a game versus Arizona on Saturday.
Lee broke the Pac-12 record for most receiving yards in a game, capturing 345 on the day. He was simply amazing, hauling in 16 receptions and two touchdowns in the outing as well.
After scoring this 44-yard touchdown, Lee had the record broken already when he had 299 yards at the moment, according to USC’s Twitter account. Lee’s 345 yards rank fifth-most in FBS history as well.
Lee broke an eight-year record in the Pac-12, which was set by Mike Hass of Oregon State, who had 293 yards versus Boise State. Lee also broke the USC receiving yards record, obviously, which passes R. Jay Soward‘s day of 260 receiving yards versus UCLA back in 1996.
The only problem from all of this, however? The Trojans ended up getting upset by the Wildcats in the game, losing 39-36.
