Since 1996 Virginia Tech is 6-10 in bowl games including 4 BCS game losses. Just in the last two years Virginia Tech has been manhandled in four big games.

Boise St would come in more prepared, make less mistakes and beat Virginia Tech. Game two Virginia Tech in a pity party loses to James Madison starting the year 0-2. The Hokies would finish the year beating FSU to win the ACCC and play Stanford in the Orange Bowl.
