Found November 05, 2012 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Washington HC Mike Shanahan told reporters that he and his staff will begin evaluating players for next season, following the team’s loss to the Panthers on Sunday. “Now you’re playing to see who, obviously, is going to be on your football team for years to come,” Shanahan said, via the Washington Post. “Now we get a chance to evaluate players and see where we’re at.“ I can understand that losing to a bad Carolina team is pretty demoralizing, but there’s still another seven games to be played. The NFC East isn’t exactly the best division in football and the Giants also lost yesterday, so it’s not exactly over at this point in time. Shanahan must be pretty confident about his status beyond this season, if he’s going to start talking about 2013. We have Washington sitting with the No. 11 hardest schedule for the rest of the season in our Strength of Schedule Rankings.
