Watch: Missouri loses stunner to Auburn after missed chip-shot FG, goal-line fumble in OT

It would be difficult for a college football team to give away a game worse than Missouri did in its 17-14 overtime loss to Auburn on Saturday.

Just as the Tigers appeared to be on their way to scoring a walk-off, game-winning touchdown, running back Nathaniel Peat extended his arm toward the goal line and simply fumbled it into the end zone, allowing Auburn to fall on it to secure the win.

That is a total gut punch. Also a gut punch? The simple fact the game even made it to overtime, as Missouri had a chance to win it at the buzzer in regulation only to have this happen.

Just an absolutely brutal way to lose a football game.
