As FAU travels to take on University of Louisiana Monroe at Malone Stadium on Saturday Oct. 9th, they will be faced with their second Sun Belt Conference match up of the season. A game in which they should finally be evenly matched.
FAU and ULM both post a 1-3, (0-1 Sun Belt) record. ULM was trampled by Auburn last week 52-3. In their only win, like FAU, they only defeated Southern Louisiana by one point 21-2. Looking at these stats you may think FAU will finally catch a break. However, before we jump to that conclusion, lets not forget the surprisingly poor performance by FAU in their conference game against North Texas. A game in which they should have won with their star running back Alfred Morris, but he was only given 17 carries. His only shinning moment was in the first quarter where he scored a goal line touchdown.
