Can Golden Tate mirror his success at Notre Dame into a pro career? Golden Tate did about everything for Notre Dame from running the ball to catching and even returning punts and kickoffs. Tate's size has been an issue for many who have bumped him down on draft boards. Golden Tate is only 5-10 and 196 lbs and still has a running back frame which can give a team many options. Last year at Notre Dame he caught 93 passes for 1,496 yards and 15 touchdowns. When Notre Dame needed that first down this is the guy they went too. He runs hard after the catch and has 4.36 speed which makes him very elusive in the open field.

At the next level I see Golden Tate doing many different things from catching passes out of the backfield to be that possession receiver you need. Even though he is smaller than a lot of wide receivers in the draft he has proven to be a guy who can go get the ball and move the markers. Whoever drafts Golden Tate may get a gem that looks to shine for a very long time in the NFL.
