Overview- So this is what it’s like when Wisconsin has a dynamic passing option behind center? If only it could be every year the Badgers nab one of the top quarterbacks in the nation off the transfer wire. Everyone knew the 5’11” Russell Wilson was a great QB, but how would he produce now in a run-heavy, pro-style offense behind giant offensive lineman? Pretty well in fact, to the tune of 33 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. Not to mention that Wilson had a huge effect on the rest of the offense as well. While the Badgers may revert to a more traditional offense in 2012, this year’s group was maybe the best we’ve seen in Madison in quite some time.
