Ten of the worst calls from this past season in college football in the link. Any I'm missing? Leave links in the comments.

  • You show concern with the "fumble that never should have been", but your impact comments on the "fumble that never was" are far less intangible...?? What if an Ohio State team with NO losses is heading into a Nat'l Championship game?? Not to mention the ref's from that game were ultimately suspended for a few bad games (non-calls & bad-calls)...coincidence? I think not..!
  • If an Ohio State team with no losses heads into a National Championship game, they probably are still #1 and are probably receiving a similar amount of scrutiny for not being able to match up with the SEC. So I think the impact is minimal.
  • Football is a game of momentum....that being said, it's hard to say that the impact would have been minimal. Lika panthersfan said "it doesn't matter". Look up the stats on Ohio State's penalties vs. whoever they are playing...Buckeye's always seem to get the short end of the stick, why is that?
  • I don't know what the impact would've been, but it doesn't matter. It was a bad call, and if everybody else didn't suck, it would've ended our year.

People talk about basketball being so easily swayed by an officials call, we the same damn thing happens in football, on a barely lesser scale.
  • Can anyone tell me why Ohio State is the most penalized team in the Big Ten, no matter who we play we end up with more penalties than the other team???
  • because Coach Tress doesnt buy them fancy dinners and move them from coach to first class. Theres just something that the refs dont like about ohio state?
