The Boxing Stop:

So I've been riding the fence on this one for a while now. Marco Antonio Barrera is a true champion, a living legend fighting someone who has proven thus far in his career that he (Khan) has about as good of a chin as Glass Joe from Mike Tyson's Punchout.
But does Barrera still have enough pop to get the job done? I think not. Here's three reasons why Khan will be too much for the aging warrior.
1. Barrera is naturally a much smaller fighter. Hey, this isn't the 122lb weight class and Khan carries some serious power under his glass jaw.
2. Khan's chin won't be a factor. Yup, I said it. Look, Khan's new trainer (Teddy Roach) will have Amir doing what he should have been doing all along: moving around the ring using his speed. Khan's quickness is well above average and he'll use it to his full advantage from now on.
3. It's really a tag team match. In one corner will be Mexican superstar Marco Antonio Barrera. Unfortunately, he'll have to fight both Amir Khan and Father Time. Maybe 3-4 years ago, Barrera could move up in weight like this and be effective against a fighter like Amir Khan, but it's 2009 and Amir Khan will just be too much.
So there you have it. Disagree? We'll see soon enough on Saturday...

and barrera is smaller, but when you have the experience barrera holds in that master mind of his, power wont be a factor and B-HOP proved it against the knock out man THE GHOST, and B-HOP left him in a bubble,

n a last comment what happens if barrera starts cutting the ring down how will khan react? with no experience, how will khan react if barrera starts popping him off with his class jab? how will khan react if barrera takes his speed n power away? and that will happen if barrera as 60% of the master in him, and barrera looks like hes got fire behind them warrior eyes, and khan eyes, are looking abit unsure to me, and khan makes 1 mistake n boom barrera kills him, just like prescott did, n people who think barrera wont catch khan dont know barrera or boxing.

Barrera is indeed a great fight. I think you are underestimating Amir Khan a litte bit. We'll see what happens. Both fighters are class acts and I wish them both the best of luck. However, I think Khan will be too much.
