Mets.com reports that Brian Schneider is doing better today. Mets catcher Brian Schneider was back in camp on Thursday, moving with significantly less pain in his right knee less than a day after his leg was examined, via MRI. The preliminary diagnosis the Mets gave Wednesday was supported by the off-premises MRI: The veteran catcher has a strain of the posterior capsule of the right knee. Schneider has yet to be given a prognosis, but he had begun anti-inflammatory treatment and didn't expect to miss significant time. David Lennon of Newsday writes that Omar Minaya isn't worried about Wright. General manager Omar Minaya said this morning that he is unconcerned about David Wright's toe injury and has no intention of pulling him out of the World Baseball Classic.
