This was a long time coming wasn't it WSU Cougars fans?

I mean isn't this the same guy who didn't dress for the second half of the apple cup? Real leadership there.

Kudo's to Coach Leach for making an example of this guy. He needed to put his stamp on the team in an authoritative way. Enter Meathead...errrr Mizell.

C.J. Mizell, one of the most talented football players at Washington State has been booted.

He could be a PRO one day. But nobody will draft this kid till he cleans up his off-the-field issues.

The school announced only that Mizell would not be retained after a violation of team policy. The Spokesman-Review reported that Mizell tried to enter a party at the Delta Tau Delta house and struck a man several times when he wasn't allowed to enter.

Mizell's departure thins what was regarded as a promising young group. Among the linebackers remaining on the roster are Sekope Kaufusi, Darryl Monroe, Logan Mayes, Chester Su'a, Darren Markle, Cyrus Coen and Darren Markle.

Insider Steve will have more on this on our WSU Cougars football blog later this week.
