AL JEFFERSON RUMORS & GOSSIP

At the Hip: Behind the Glory of the Lopez Twins -- Week 1

There has been many a joke floating around the blogosphere regarding the potential of a Robin & Brook Lopez reality tv show. Joke no more, the voices have been heard. Bony Tenders

Nothing much of note, just thought I'd check in.I now write with the disclaimer that I may no longer know what the f I'm talking about. I've been in a post-Al Jefferson knee injury daze for the past few weeks, and then with the news that Amare is out for the postseason, I almost just gave up. ...

5 Quick Thoughts vs. Minnesota 3/7

Not much to say about the game tonight between Portland and the Minnesota Timberwolves is there? The T-Wolves are awful, and the Blazers are almost unstoppable at home. Al Jefferson is out for the year, and he was basically the only factor in this series that could have helped this ...

WEST West All Star Jerseys for Everyone!!

He made the team! West Reserves: Shaq, Gasol, West, Nowitzki, Parker, Billups, and Roy I don’t know how I feel about that. I mean, obviously, we’re happy. But Gasol averaging 17/9, West 20/7, Shaq 18/9…. Al Jefferson 23/10. Let’s not quibble over who’s a forward and who’s a center. Let’s not say who out of those three guys [...]

Trailblazers 88, Timberwolves 83

In Minnesota tonight, on the back end of 2 straight games on the road, the Blazers dug deep to pull off a win. We seemed a bit lethargic early on and the 2nd quarter was a disaster. Eventually the Timberwolves wound down and Roy took over late to seal the victory. Al Jefferson once again dominated us offensively and for some reason LA was not a factor. The best part? Oden and Przybilla...

Jefferson Sprains Knee Will Be On Shelf For 2-3 Weeks

The Minnesota Timberwolves thought they were seeing their season ending before it even began, when big man Al Jefferson fell to the floor clutching his right knee earlier this week. Jefferson was playing in a pick-up game with teammates, when the injury occurred. And although Jefferson was injured the "Associated Press" is reporting that it [...]

Replacing Kwame Brown

The Grizzlies fan in me is psyched to hear that Kwame Brown is headed out of Memphis and back to Motor City. Today the former #1 overall draft pick signed a two-year deal with the Pistons. Eight million dollars. Somehow the Grizz will have to replace those 3.5 points per game, and also those 3.8 boards per game. The top two candidates to replace Brown's sky-high stats...
