B.J. RAJI RUMORS & GOSSIP

Grading the Draft: NFC North

Grading the Draft: NFC North  Green Bay Packers 1(9): DT B.J. Raji - A smart, quick nose tackle who we predicted going to the Packers from very early on. He fits the new defensive scheme well and will be asked to contribute early. Raji is a dominating nose tackle and will anchor the Packers 3-4 defense in [...]

Green Bay Packers on the Clock at #9 and took B. J. Raji

Boston College nose tackle B. J. Raji was an excellent selection for the Packers. A very powerful (6' 1" 335 lbs) run stopper, but with the quickness to rush the passer and completely disrupt an offense. If he gets and stays in shape, he could be a pro bowl nose tackle. A great pick here, draft grade for this pick: A+

Is There a Cover-Up for Positive Drug Tests at the NFL Combine?

I can’t remember the last time members of the media got stories of great magnitude flat-out wrong like they did with this one. Maybe it was when a TV station erroneously reported that Albert Pujols was on the Mitchell Report and later got reprimanded. It’s been reported over the past month that there [...]

Report: No Positive Combine Drug Tests for Raji, Davis, Cushing, Matthews

According to reports, at least four of the players initially linked to rumors of failed drug tests did not, in fact, test positive at the Combine. So far, the list of vindicated players includes BJ Raji, Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews, and Vontae Davis.

Rumors Surface of More Failed NFL Combine Drug Tests

Rumors and reports have surfaced over the last 24 hours that BJ Raji, Vontae Davis, Percy Harvin, Clay Matthews, and Brian Cushing all failed drug tests at the NFL Scouting Combine in February. Herzy and Raji honored and other links

BJ Raji and Mark Herzlich were named third-team selections to the Associated Press's All-America Team. I think both deserve higher billing but the national team becomes very political. This year it is filled with SEC and Big XII guys. One interesting note from the Globe article: speculation is ...

The Raji Tackle

This play is slowly taking on legendary status for BC fans and ND haters alike. I don't want to spark the whole recruiting rankings debate again, but let's all agree that sometimes the experts get it wrong (Raji was a 2-star, Olsen a 4-star).
