In the wide world of sports, there isn’t anything better than being paid to play a game. Top prospects in college have typically been on the NFL track since high school, but for lower-level prospects, that’s not always the case.
Undrafted free agent quarterback Ben Chappell knows exactly what it’s like to prepare for life after sports, which is why he...

Ben Chappell Draft Status
Ben Chappell finished his senior season leading the Big Ten in passing with 3,295 yards last season. Ben completed 62.5% of his passes and threw 24 TD’s and only 9 INT’s. However, Ben not participating in the NFL combine will likely have a significant impact on whether or not he gets drafted next month. Although it is still possible to impress NFL scouts with his Pro...

Ben Chappell Ends IU Career With Old Oaken Bucket and Career Day
What a day for Indiana Hoosiers’ quarterback Ben Chappell. In his final game as a College Football quarterback, Chappell had a good, record-breaking day with the Hoosiers. This helped as IU beat the Purdue Boilermakers for the Old Oaken Bucket in a 34-31 victory. It marked the first team since 1996 that the Hoosiers beat Purdue in an away game.
IU now ends the year with a 5-7 record...

Mental Preparation all the difference for EWB
I’m sure many people don’t want to have to think about the question of who will be the Hoosier QB next year when Ben Chappell is gone. Chappell has been under center for the majority of the season and we really haven’t seen any other QB really get a chance to show what they can do. (Not that we would expect that over a QB who’s leading the Big Ten in passing...

Lynch thinks Chappell ‘will be able to play’ vs. Penn State
Indiana’s Ben Chappell was forced out of the Hoosiers’ 62-point loss to Wisconsin Saturday, but it doesn’t appear that the injury will keep him from taking the field this weekend against Penn State. Head coach (for now) Bill Lynch sounded very optimistic Monday that he’ll have his junior quarterback available for the game at FedEx…

Tough Loss for Indiana
The Indiana Hoosiers took on the Northwestern Wildcats today. The Wildcats beat the Hoosiers 20-17, despite Indiana’s quarterback, Ben Chappell, leading The Big Ten in passing yards. Chappell has thrown for over 2,445 yards this season. His hard work and determination were not enough to secure the Hoosiers a win today.
The Hoosiers’ Mitch Ewald, kicked a field goal to score the...
