College Football Recruiting 2012: Houston Cougars
University of Houston’s newest member of the NFL, quarterback Case Keenum, may be remembered as the man who put the Cougars on the map. The Cougars finished the regular season 12-0 as they set a new school record for wins. It was the first undefeated and untied regular season in their 66-year history. The Cougars would lose to Southern Mississippi in the 2011 Conference USA...

So, why did the Houston Cougars put up a billboard featuring Case Keenum giving ‘the shocker’ hand gesture anyway?
Well, because it’s not supposed to be “the shocker” as defined by Urban Dictionary. (Warning: link not safe for the faint of heart, parents of any age, or Rick Santorum.)
Here is the picture, and then in true Paul Harvey style…the rest of the story.

Keenum, Cougars roll past Penn State
Penn State's tumultuous year ended with a 30-14 loss to Houston in the TicketCity Bowl on Monday, a dispiriting finish to a season in which coach Joe Paterno was fired as part of a child sex-abuse scandal that shook college sports.
The 24th-ranked Nittany Lions were picked apart by Cougars star Case Keenum, who threw for 532 yards and three touchdowns. Penn State was allowing...

C-USA championship out of reach for Keenum
HOUSTON Back in August, when the knee was still sore and the jubilation of getting the sixth season was still fresh, it was all in front of Case Keenum.
The records. The BCS. The Heisman. It would take something extraordinary to get all that, but it was possible. Yet Keenum, granted a sixth season by the NCAA after blowing out his knee last year, did not allow himself to dream...

If Houston’s Case Keenum Doesn’t Win the Heisman, Maybe He Can Adopt This Kid
Nice costume kid. Very authentic, right down to the old-timey leather helmet. Wonder if the little scamp came up with the idea on his own, or if his parents promised him a new puppy if he let them turn him into a living, breathing Heisman Trophy and show him off at the Houston-SMU game, which the Cougars won easily 37-7.
I don’t recall the actual trophy having such a scowl...

1 of 0 Theo Epstein has a huge task in front of him. Does he walk into his first season as President of Baseball Operations for the Chicago Cubs with Mike Quade? Or without him? Personally- Mike Quade should have been fired before he was hired so you know where I stand. These are the top 3 candidates to replace Quade.

Case Keenum CFL Or NFL Phenom
After throwing for 9 touchdowns against Rice in a 63-34 Houston win, Case Keenum is the talk of the college football world. With the failures of Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan, it would seem that he is destined to be another casualty of the NFL, but his CFL stardom is all but assured. Many draft experts believe he is a late round pick that stands little chance of becoming an NFL star...

HE RESTS HIS CASE
Houston QB throws for 534 yds., 9 TDs
Case Keenum is no stranger to gaudy numbers, but the 534-yard, 9-touchdown performance he put up in the University of Houston's 73-34 win over Rice is mind-boggling.
