I got a lot of flack for picking Xavier over Memphis yesterday. A lot of people said I was an idiot for picking the Musketeers.
Well at least this idiot had it right.
What a huge win for Sean Miller and Xavier. Even without their best player, Derrick Brown, playing well the Musketeers were able to knock off the nation's #12 team.

Oakland Raiders sign another rookie free agent
The Raiders have signed another defensive back named Derrick Brown, except this one is Darrick Brown, SS, McNeese State. Brown is a four year letterman in track and field and also in football. His brother, another defensive back from McNeese State signed with the Cardinals.

Oakland Raiders: More rookie free agents signed
The Raiders on the heels of the 2008 NFL draft, have signed another three free agents to come in and compete for roster spots this season. Needing more linebackers, they signed OLB, Malik Jackson from Louisville. For some reason, the Raiders still need to add more cornerbacks to the roster and signed Derrick Brown from Southern Utah. They also signed a center from Missouri, Adam Spieker.
