Chiefs Sign Veteran Center Eric Ghiaciuc
The Chiefs today signed veteran unrestricted free agent center Eric Ghiaciuc to a deal. The 6-foot-4, 303-pound Ghiaciuc made 42 starts for Cincinnati from 2005-08 after being drafted in the fourth round by the Bengals in 2005. The Bengals drafted center Jonathan Luigs of Arkansas in the fourth round Sunday.

Bengals Finally Get Their Center in Luigs
Anxious Bengals fans can finally exhale after Cincinnati took Arkansas center Jonathan Luigs with the 106th pick.
Solid pick at the point in the draft. Luigs is a solid prospect who drops to the fourth largely because of the strength of this year’s center class. He will immediately challenge for the starter’s job.

Bengals Tap TE Coffman With Last Top 100 Pick
With the 98th pick in the draft the Cincinnati Bengals selected Missouri TE Chase Coffman, a receiving tight end who gives QB Carson Palmer another weapon, which is never a bad idea.
The Bengals pick again at 106. So far, centers Antoine Caldwell and Jonathan Luigs remain on the board.
