49ers DE Kentwan Balmer The Invisible Man
Instead of selecting pass rusher, wide receiver, offensive tackle, the team went defensive tackle Kentwan Balmer. The 49ers say that Balmer is right where they want him to be in his development, which is code for "don't expect much from him this year." Balmer's been a 315-pound invisible man this summer.

Balmer Signs, 5 Years, 11.5 Million
ESPN’s John Clayton is reporting that first-round pick Kentwan Balmer had signed. It’s a five-year, $11.5 million contract that includes $6 million in guaranteed money.

Wallace Signs, Balmer Only One Left
