Anthony Johnson Loses His Appeal
Anthony Johnson has lost his appeal to overturn the result of his last fight with Kevin Burns, which ended in controversy when the referee failed to see an eye poke that ended the fight. Anthony Johnson Appeal with NSAC Rejected
Keith Kizer, Executive Director at the Nevada State Athletic Comission, confirmed the rejection of the appeal that UFC fighter Anthony Johnson filed due to his loss from Kevin Burns. The reason for the loss was clear on film that it was due to an eye poke.

UFC 85 Fight Bonuses Decreased
the fight bonuses this time around are 25k less than last time. Thiago Alves, Matt Wiman, and Kevin Burns all got bonuses. Thiago had his stoppage over Matt hughes, giving him a flying knee followed by a series of punches.
