Josh McDaniels Talks About His Draft Picks
Josh McDaniels talked to ESPN radio after the draft. Here are some important quotes from the interview:
On Alphonso Smith still being avilable
“Yeah, that’s right. We were one of those teams that thought if we were fortunate enough to have a chance to get him where we got him, we were going to take the opportunity to do that. In our minds, we had four first-round selections,...

Eagles Day 1 Draft Recap
What a wild day one of the NFL Draft for the Eagles. The guy everyone thought was “their guy” was gone at pick 12. Knowshon Moreno got scooped up by the Broncos, who now have 34 running backs on their roster. I wonder what Buck is thinking right about now? He inked a four-year deal [...]

Denver knows running backs, picks Knowshon Moreno
Knowshon Moreno could be the “Fantasy Stud” of the ‘09 draft.
With the 12th pick in the draft, Denver made Moreno the second Georgia Bulldog to be picked in round one. Moreno does not have great speed, but he’s a true “every down” back and will be expected to be an instant contributor.

Draft Day: Will Cards Draft Running Back?
It seems the Cardinals may be leaning towards a running back in the first round of today’s NFL Draft at the 31st pick. Who would you like to see the Cardinals take. The favorite of course is Knowshon Moreno, however he will most likely be long gone by the time number 31 rolls around. Take Moreno out of the equation, who would you like to see the Cardinals pick at running...

Eagles to "definitely" take a RB in first round, looking at Donald Brown
Word on the street says there’s a 99% chance the Eagles take a running back
in the first round. With Buckhalter going to the Broncos and Westbrook
coming off a season full of knee problems at 30-years-old, it’s safe to
assume the Eagles will use one of their first two picks to take a RB
despite the “Eagles never use a 1st round pick on a RB” mentality...

I'll take Knowshon Moreno with the 13th pick in the 2009 NFL Draft!
In the 2009 NFL Draft, the Eagles should be getting a pick in the teens (currently #13) and mid 20's pick (via Panthers). After checking a few mock drafts, the top 3 OL could be off the board. One player I've been keeping my eye on is Knowhon Moreno. The guy is a freak. The two mock drafts that I checked have him going in the range of 18-24. Assuming the top OTs are...
