A-rod Hopes The Other 103 Names Are Not Released, Doesn't Care If You Like Him!
From Mark Feinsand:In an interview with the YES Network, which will air tonight after the Yankees-Red Sox game as part of a season-preview show, A-Rod told Michael Kay that he doesn't want to see the names of the other 103 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs released."Well this is really about my mistake," Rodriguez said. Michael Kay says his talk show is better than Mike Francesa's
During Wednesday's "Michael Kay Show," Kay and his partner, Don La Greca, spoke about how their show is better than Mike Francesa's Chris Russo-less version and that listeners should encourage their friends to switch the dial from 660 WFAN to 1050 ESPN.
According to Neil Best, Kay and La Greca said their show is basically younger and fresher.
They urged listeners...

New York Sports Talk Radio Just Got a Lot More Boring
Over the past week or so I've heard an advertisement on ESPN 1050 about Colin Cowherd's debut on the network next week from 12-2. This confused me. Were they going to take an hour away from Max Kellerman's 10-1 show? Why would they do that when it's by far the most entertaining show they have? If they're going to do that I'd imagine it would completely...

Mad Dog Goes On Stern, All Hell Breaks Out In NYC
I never thought I'd see the day that Howard Stern and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo would be in the same studio, but I guess when you work for the same company it's bound to happen. Russo went on Stern yesterday, and after a lengthy conversation about all things Sports radio, and his strained relationship with former co-host Mike Francesa, everyone in New York City decided...

Even Current Athletes Hate Skip Bayless
I've known certain athletes that have had issue with Skip Bayless before (Troy Aikman), but you rarely here about active athletes taking issue with the guy. Well that's not the case anymore as Billy Wagner ripped the Skipper on the Michael Kay Show yesterday. Via The Sports Point...."Everybody wanted to make this out to be so much more than it was. And it really got...

Michael Kay loves your free stuff
In the event you head to Yankee Stadium on a giveaway day expecting free stuff, only to find out it's already gone when you arrive, Paul O'Neill knows where you can find it.
Play-by-play man Michael Kay has it.
In a priceless moment during last night's otherwise forgettable 5-2 loss to Toronto, O'Neill called out Kay when it comes to the freebies.

Alyssa Milano Loves Torre, Michael Kay Hates Torre
Alyssa Milano has released her first public statement about the Torre deal on her blog, and her public reaction is much closer to what I expected: "Thank you, Frank McCourt, for bringing Joe Torre to the Dodgers. ?. Oh my God. I am so excited . . . I am spitting. I think that about sums it up." vs. Michael Kay: "There are things about Joe Torre, if I wanted to come...

Phil Rirruto Has Left the Building
Did I kill Rizzuto by accident? Did all my negative energy toward Michael Kay get placed on the wrong announcer? I hope not. I also think SportsCenter may have killed him, since they aired a clip of when the "Holy Cow" knocked Rizzuto over during a ceremony at Yankee Stadium back in the day.
