I wrote a while back that Nebraska transfer Patrick Witt was considering UCLA, but he is not coming to Westwood. He recently committed to Yale. UCLA didn't offer him a scholarship, and from what I understand, the plan was to wait and see what transpired in the spring before making a decision. What is the status with QB Patrick Witt who is transferring from Nebraska? It seems like UCLA could use another QB like him. I don't think UCLA is going to pursue him at this time because it is comfortable with the play it received at quarterback in the spring. However, I know UCLA will keep Witt on its radar. Here is a story I wrote about for today's paper about former Nebraska quarterback Patrick Witt being interested in transferring to UCLA.
