PATRICK WITT RUMORS & GOSSIP

Patrick Witt Knows Yale-Harvard Is More Than Just a Game

One evening last fall, Yale student Patrick Witt was studying inside his eight-man suite inside Jonathan Edwards College, his residence hall. As Witt pored over a book, one of his roommates approached and asked if he would be attending the tailgater before that Saturday's Bulldog football game. "I'd love to, but I can't," Witt replied. "I'm on the...

Princeton 24 Yale 17

The SportsProf family tailgated at a nicely appointed tailgate party on a field near Princeton Stadium. Put it this way -- the spread was much more intricate than a variety of grilled, shredded meats. Hoagies, crudite, salsa, guacamole dip, great corn chips, crab dip, wine, beer, Philadelphia soft pretzels and cookies constituted the spread. The food was great, the company better...

Why no Witt, Marve at UCLA

I wrote a while back that Nebraska transfer Patrick Witt was considering UCLA, but he is not coming to Westwood. He recently committed to Yale. UCLA didn't offer him a scholarship, and from what I understand, the plan was to wait and see what transpired in the spring before making a decision. Answers, Part IV

What is the status with QB Patrick Witt who is transferring from Nebraska? It seems like UCLA could use another QB like him. I don't think UCLA is going to pursue him at this time because it is comfortable with the play it received at quarterback in the spring. However, I know UCLA will keep Witt on its radar. QB transfer Witt and UCLA

Here is a story I wrote about for today's paper about former Nebraska quarterback Patrick Witt being interested in transferring to UCLA. Also, from what I understand, Witt's size (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) and his pocket-passer approach are important aspects to running Bruins offensive coordinator Norm Chow's offense.Source: Inside UCLA Submitted By: hiltigger Direct Link
