Penn State Football Suffers Another Injury
Penn State has lost junior defensive end Pete Massaro for the upcoming season. Multiple sources have confirmed that Massaro tore his ACL and will miss the entire 2011 campaign. Massaro will require surgery on the torn ligament. Massaro started the final 11 games last season at defensive end and totaled 37 tackles (8 for loss), 3.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery...

Another ACL sidelines Massaro for season
Defensive end Pete Massaro will miss the 2011 season after sustaining a torn left ACL in practice last Friday, Penn State's athletic department confirmed. Massaro is scheduled for reconstructive surgery in April, the second such prodceure of his career. Massaro tore his right ACL in the 2009 Blue-White Game, causing him to miss that season.
