Broncos take LB Trevathan with final pick in draft
The Denver Broncos used their final pick of the NFL draft on a linebacker, selecting Danny Trevathan of Kentucky in the sixth round on Saturday.
The pick was part of the package the Broncos received in the deal that sent Tim Tebow to the New York Jets. Denver also netted a fourth-round pick, using it to take Baylor center Philip Blake.
Trevathan had 143 tackles for the Wildcats...

There’s not a lot of positive in a 5-7 season, but at the University of Kentucky, where football still clearly takes a backseat to roundball, you have to pick your battles. Even in Kentucky, you can’t be truly happy with not qualifying for a bowl game, but ending a 27-year losing streak to the University of Tennessee still made 2011 a special season for the Wildcats....
