Two players kicked off of Illinois football team
Wide receiver Darius Millines and defensive end Darrius Caldwell have been kicked off the University of Illinois football team for unspecified rules violations, the Associated Press reported on Thursday.
Last season Millines was the second-leading receiver on the Illini catching 32 passes for 319 yards in his junior season.

Illini suspend star WR Darius Millines
On Monday Illinois head coach Tim Beckman announced that he was suspending star wide receiver Darius Millines from the team for a violation of team policies. He wouldn't elaborate on that suspension, other than to say his status would be re-evaluated in May.
O.k., so maybe calling Millines a "star" at any level other than on the Illini roster is a bit much...
Florida Receiver Plans Illini Official Visit
In a constant search for top wide receivers, the Fighting Illini have offered a Florida cousin of current Illini receiver Darius Millines. Marcus Davis appears to have a similar interest in the Illini and plans an official visit this fall.
