Kevyn Scott Named to Capital One Academic All-America First Team
Syracuse senior captain Kevyn Scott was named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America First Team on Thursday, Dec. 8. He is the 10th player in the history of the Orange football program to receive first-team academic All-America honors and the first since center Jim McKenzie in 2009.

Orange Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District
In addition to their contributions on the field this season for the Orange, senior captains Adam Harris and Kevyn Scott are earning recognition for their work in the classroom, and were named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team. Both student-athletes are now eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America status, with national balloting beginning on Tuesday.
