USC could be without starting guard for opener

With the season opener exactly 10 days away, USC could be at less than full strength along the offensive line. Starting guard Khaliel Rodgers, the school confirmed late Tuesday night, suffered a sprained knee during practice this week. He is expected to be sidelined for a period of 10-14 days.
