PULLMAN — College football fans are already quite familiar with Wazzu's Marquess Wilson, a potential All-America wideout who keeps defensive coordinators up 'til dawn thinking of ways to stop him. But the Cougars' new outside receivers coach Dennis Simmons says there are other WSU wide receivers not to be overlooked -- guys he expects to put up big-time numbers in 2012.

Final word from Pac-12 on non-replay
WASHINGTON STATE players, coaches and fans may never agree with the ruling, but a Pacific-12 Conference spokesman said Tuesday that Marquess Wilson’s controversial catch in Saturday’s overtime loss to Utah was reviewed in the replay booth before play continued.

PRACTICE REPORT: On the mend
PULLMAN- As the Cougars wrapped up practice on Wednesday, WR Marquess Wilson and SS Deone Bucannon were still on the sidelines as spectators. Wilson has missed all three practices this week, while Bucannon has missed the last two. The question on everybody's mind, will both be out for this weekend's high stakes tilt against Utah?

Cougar receivers get their groove back
IT WASN'T ENOUGH to win, but it was something. After a trio of poor performances against UCLA, Stanford and Oregon State, WSU’s receiving corps showed some life Saturday afternoon in their 43-28 loss at No. 7 Oregon. For the first time since the Cougars’ 31-27 win at Colorado, Jared Karstetter and Marquess Wilson both surpassed 100 yards in the same game.
