Michigan's Pipkins injures neck in practice
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan defensive tackle Ondre Pipkins has been hospitalized for precautionary reasons and evaluation after injuring his neck.
Wolverines coach Brady Hoke released a statement Friday morning saying Pipkins had movement in all of his extremities.
The 6-foot-3, 340-pound Pipkins is a highly touted freshman from Kansas City, Mo.

Official statement from Brady Hoke via UM media relations:
Ondre injured his neck during practice this morning. He had movement in all extremities and was taken to U-M Health System for precautionary reasons and evaluation.
That is all we know right now. It's very encouraging that he had movement in all extremities and was only taken to UM Health System as a precaution. But...
