True freshman Shane Wynn opened the game with a 99-yard kickoff touchdown return, the first ever by an IU true freshman. It is the first for a Hoosier since Ray Fisher's 93-yarder at Northwestern on Oct. 24, 2009. Fisher was also the last Hoosier to take back an opening kickoff, racing 91 yards at Akron on Sept. 19, 2009.
