Stanford Player Tackles Teammate In Endzone. On Purpose.
Lot’s of Bowl Game action went down over the holiday, here’s one of the more stranger plays. During the Fiesta Bowl, Stanford took on Oklahoma State. Stanford’s Jermey Stewart realizes the freshman Ty Montgomery will not return this kick past the 20-yard line, so he tackles his teammate. A simple “please stop” would have sufficed.

Ty Montgomery Loses His Head
Stanford’s wide receiver Ty Montgomery took a vicious hit after catching a pass in the flat tonight. Oklahoma State defensive back Markelle Martin laid a crushing blow after Ty made the catch. The hit was so hard that his helmet came flying off, the announcers debated whether it was a clean hit. I say it was helmet to helmet but who cares it was pretty freaking entertaining...
