Coach apparently thinks golf is a contact sport, faces felony charges
Rick McCall, men's golf coach at Wesley College, is facing charges of felony reckless endangering, felony second-degree assault, resisting arrest, offensive touching (what does that even mean?), disorderly conduct, and reckless driving (of a car, not a golf ball) after getting in a scuffle on Feb. 28 at Maple Dale Country Club in Delaware. McCall alledgedly did a number of things, but highlighting everything was his reckless driving. McCall reportedly lunged his car at an officer, rolled the window up with the officer's arm in the car and started driving off with the officer hanging on! And he might have picked a better excuse than this when talking to investigators: "I'm just an excitable person."
