Text Messaging Ban Upon Us

As some of you may have read in an earlier post, "Test Messaging, In Or Out Of NCAA," the NCAA's ban on text messaging between collegiate coaches and potential student-athletes comes into effect tomorrow, August 1.
No longer will coaches or otherwise be able to text prospects to see how they are doing, set dates for meeting, advise of schedule changes or otherwise.
Just thought I would remind you all about another stupid rule put out there just because someone in a suit and tie thought it sounded good.

What a crock. I heard they were going to approve that rule. It's mainly because the older coaches don't know how to text. The younger coaches and assistants would have had a major edge. Next will be no emails....
