100 high school students break world record in rowing

100 students from Britain got together yesterday and broke a high school world record that had originally been held by Niskayuna High School in New York. The students rowed one million meters (about 621 miles) in 15 hours, 10 minutes, and 7.1 seconds, smashing Niskayuna High School's record of 17 hours, 39 minutes, and 25 seconds. Niskayuna High School's record had stood since 2000.
