The Sun Devils Ax Swimming

Citing operation budget woes, official at Arizona State University announced the discontinuation of three varsity sport programs, men's swimming, men's tennis and wrestling. Athletes on scholarship will receive the benefits of those scholarships through graduation or have the support of the university with any decisions to transfer to another institution. The reductions will bring ASU's varsity sport count to 20 and represents a reduction of approximately $1 million annually.

Isn't ASU a big party school? Those athletes will be able to 'partake' a bit more it seems.
