Rakeem Buckles Expected To Follow Richard Pitino To Minnesota
I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t wish former Louisville forward Rakeem Buckles was on the floor with the team when they won the 2013 national championship just a month ago.
Buckles was a part of Louisville’s 2009 recruiting class and had things gone the way we had hoped, he would have been a senior on this year’s championship team.
Buckles’ collegiate career hit an...

Florida International’s new beach court is brilliant marketing
Marketing is critical to sales. Maybe it’s just as important for college hoopswins?
If so, it could be a good explanation for Florida International University’s recent rise from anonymity. The Golden Panthers made it to the Sun Belt conference finals this year before falling to Western Kentucky. You probably didn’t know that. But, you’ve likely heard about FIU hoops in recent...

FIU players take recruit to strip club
I'm sure it isn't the first time a recruit has been taken to a strip club. However, it isn't very wise to take to Twitter to gloat about it.
Episode 125 – Florida International the Sun Belt favorite
Florida International student beat reporter Luis Gutierrez
We all know that Mario Cristobal has developed quite the coaching profile in recent years. His dedication to establishing and building the Golden Panthers is commendable for so many reasons, especially when other positions have seemed to have his name practically on the office door at Rutgers and Pittsburgh. You can say...
