Davion Berry Headlines Big Sky Awards
Davion Berry of Weber State has been named Big Sky MVP.
Joining Berry on the All-Big Sky First team are Tyler Harvey, Troy Huff, Kareem Jamar, Mikh McKinney and Quinton Upshur.
On the All-Big Sky Second Team are Derrick Barden, Chris Hansen, Kyle Tresnak, Tate Unruh and Gary Winston.
Joel Bolomboy was named Defensive Player of the Year, while Jeremy Senglin received Freshman of the Year honors.
Big Sky Tournament Preview
The Big Sky tournament kicks off this week kicks off on Thursday with all games in Ogden, Utah, site of top seeded Weber State. The field is heavily slanted towards the Wildcats winning, with the semifinals getting re-seeded so that they get to face the lowest remaining seed, and of course getting to host all of the games.
They're a fairly heavy favorite statistically as well...

Weber State picks Utah assistant as head coach
Weber State has chosen Utah assistant Jay Hill as its new head football coach.
Hill was introduced Thursday in Ogden as the 11th coach in the school's history. He replaces Jody Sears, who was fired after going just 4-19 in his two seasons.

Weber State has fired its football coach after just two seasons.
Jody Sears went 4-19 in his two seasons as head coach of the Wildcats, who play in the Big Sky Conference. The northern Utah school announced Sears' dismissal Tuesday afternoon.

John L. Smith Hired At Weber State
Former Louisville football coach John L. Smith has accepted the head coaching position at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
