Death at Sea Otter

Redwood City native, Mark Reynolds, died as a result of injuries sustained during a downhill mountain bike race contested at the Sea Otter Cycling Festival in Monterey. Reynolds suffered head and neck injuries after striking a dirt embankment on a portion of the downhill course. An avid mountain biker, Reynolds was competing in the amateur men 40-49 category.
