Lance Armstrong's former team coach says he's skipping this year's Tour de France amid allegations he helped Armstrong use performance-enhancing drugs during his seven tour victories from 1999-2005.
Johan Bruyneel, who currently coaches the Radioshack-Nissan-Trek team, says he doesn't want the allegations raised by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to be a distraction for the team and the race.
Armstrong and Bruyneel say they are innocent.
Bruyneel led every one of Armstrong's Tour de France victories. Bruyneel announced his decision Friday in a statement on Twitter and his website.
