The Hit King? Still banished from his sport for gambling. The NBA's Chosen One acts like a petulant child, championship ring or not, while one of the NFL's recent Super Bowl champs is engulfed in an unseemly bounty scandal.
Big money in sports has equaled big problems. And let's not even get started with the greatest golfer of this generation.
It's enough to make us wonder: Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio?
