Trying to quench my thirst after eating 227 chicken wings at the Philly Wing Bowl

It's not me opening my throat and pouring it down but I enjoy watching this video. I definitely enjoy a good chugging contest. I can drink like I eat but I need to competitively eat to offset the alcohol, it's the perfect balance.

Deep Dish,

I'd like to challenge you to a chugging contest. Joey Chestnut has seen my work firsthand. He'll vouch for my skills. I'm pretty sure based on what I just saw that you would beat me, in fact I can all but guarantee it; however, I turn 30 this summer and I'm undefeated lifetime. If I'm going to lose, I want it to be against the best. From everything I've heard, that is you. So whaddya say? Are you up for beating an amateur?

Dewey

I have heard about your abilities, and I did see the video. I like how you set joey up then kicked his butt. I accept your challenge, pitchers or gallons? If we are going to do it we should do it right. There is no better feeling than downing a gallon of beer in 2.75 minutes and waiting for the 11 beers to kick in.

How did you see the video?! I promised Joey I wouldn't release it. I thought I had the only copy. Oops. D'oh. The cat is out of the bag. I hope Joey doesn't get mad at me. Sorry, Jaws!

Let's do a pitcher. A gallon would kill me. Eleven beers over the course of a night and I'm in trouble. In three minutes, I'd be in the gutter. Which come to think of it would make for a pretty good video.

I just remembered that Joey's roommate had a second camera... that explains it.

Dewey - if this challenge is going to happen, I'm going to have to suggest it be a 3-man race with my roommate. Dude is an amazing chugger, and also undefeated - ask Andrew about him. If this happens, it could be bigger than Faber v. Pulver.

To get a shot at the Deep Dish and/or the D-Man, you first have to pay your dues and go through Jaws.

I'll put my boy up against any drinker, any time, any where, any brand, and any quantity. Because my boy can drink. He's the best of the best, the chuggerest of the chuggerest. He was born to drink, and can't nobody open his throat like him. God bless America.

Dewey, about the video... how much did you drink and in how much time? was it a gallon of beer in 2.75 minutes? Let me know when you are going to have the chugging challenge guys!

PS: Nothing can top Faber vs. Pulver.

Pulverized!

i could beat him but i've seen a man that drank a beer fast enough that i blinked and missed it.... literally

If there is a challenge about drinking, let me know! I am in, I have done milk half gallon in 18 seconds and a gallon in 2 minutes, never tried with beer but I would like to!

It's gotta be the sunglasses

did you hold the gallon of milk down afterwards?

Yes but the belly pain was intense and I felt like in a food comma! I think I could still drink a gallon but I am not sure if I would still keep it down!

i often think of trying the 1gal-1hr challenge. my stomach keeps a gal of beer down easily so i can't imagin milk is much worse. i just dont wanna mess myself up any

I think beer would be easier, you just relax while burping a lot and feeling quite drunk!

Let's turn to the experts: Deep Dish and/or Joey, what is easier to chug, milk or beer?

It all depends on the temperature, carbonation of the beer and drinking vessel. But overall the gallon of milk is easier for me. I think that the lactic acid in the milk is what makes most people have a hard time keeping it down.(joey did it from the jug in 41 seconds) If the beer wasn't ice cold and was in double gulp cups I think I could get it down around 20-30 seconds. I once drank a gallon of water in 17 seconds. The saltine challenge is also possible, a few years back I did 9 in one minute. I should post some pictures of both challenges. I have a few competitive eating challenges. I would love to drink a 30 pack of beer and a 30 pack of sliders in one sitting. I would also like to do a hot dog contest where you dunk the buns in warm flat beer or mikes hard lemonade. It would be interesting to see if you get drunk after eating 12 lbs of food and 12-15 drinks.

I think you missed your true calling as Nutrtionist

ya'll should come party with me sometime..... thats exactly what i'm talkin about!

love to try the 30 - 30 vs. you. you can do 10 ounce Old 'Pyle and I will do 7 oz pony bottles. you would still kill me but it would be fun

Also the 6 saltine crackers in 1 minute challenge is a fun one. no drinks allowed.
and another fav is slices of american chz singles in a min.... I can't recall how many the challenge is supposed to be 5 or 6 maybe

It would be fun to try the saltine crakers and the chesse slices

yeah its a fun time.... i always offer 5 bucks just to watch a bunch of people try it.... it is possible but I haven't lost the 5 yet. free entertainment, just hope nobody ever chokes.
