In addition to spending a day alongside the royalty that is Lord Stanley during the offseason, Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid got to spend a day with Prince William and Kate Middleton. McQuaid competed in a rowing race with the couple, which he said was a special experience. The young blue liner said he was in awe at first, which is usually the case when meeting people of such importance.
