Markus Burden is having a decent first week of college. The Ball St. freshman, an Illinois native, was randomly picked from the crowd at John E. Worthen arena during at “Welcome Week” event last Thursday. His opportunity? One halfcourt shot…for one free year of college.
Simple enough. Eleven thousand dollars in tuition could be washed away with one swish of the net.
Nailed it. Nothing but net too.
